Walking up for a few steps, Serene Resort offers Upper pool in higher level of your privacy surrounded by tropical garden. Its formal shape pool and simple landscape provides more concentration on swimming and enjoy reading in cozy atmosphere.

I booked the room thru booking.com It is cheap for the resort on Kata beach which is only 100 RMS per night. Breakfast is good taste. Staff are friendly but their English quite poor. From the resort to the beach it is 5 miutes walk.
Over all, it is very value for money !

-Room is huge and space to relax (Bed, Daybed)
-Employees are good.
-Room Rate is very good (I bought voucher from the exhibition).
But
- Room is quite dark and many mosquitoes.
-Have to walk about 5-10 minutes to the beach
- 1 of 2 pools are not available and they are small
- Less choices of breakfast but it´s OK.

The room is beautiful and huge. The food at the hotel restaurant is tasty and cheap and we enjoyed the swimming pool.
