Love the pool-side rooms - that's why we keep going back to The Front Village. Staff is very accommodating but could be better informed on some local matters. Internet charges are excessive considering the rates in town. There should be FREE WIFI in ALL ROOMS for registered guests - after all, this is 2010! The restaurant is disappointing and overpriced - better to eat at the restaurants in town. Overall, we recommend this hotel as a great choice for the budget-conscience family, and will come back again.

i have stayed twice at front villige and cannot say anything bad about hotel.much better then staying at patong beach clean and close.taxi outside takes 10min to patong and nightlife.

I stayed 7 days with family Jan 06,accommodation and facilites were better than expected for the price=good value. Comfortable walk to restaurants and close walk to beach opposite. I am looking to return again shortly Sept/Oct.07 & wouldn´t stay anywhere else. What you save here you can spend elsewhere and on tours. I usually stay 5 Star The Front Village is more than adequate for a pleasant place to stay.

nice hotel, quiet but may have just been time of year. good service. food not very good. pool excellent. friendly staff. rooms cleaned daily but sparse. but all this reflected in price, very reasonable
