I got recommendation for this hotel from "Gembira Tour Phuket" ( http://www.phuketthailandtrip.com ) they help us to book this hotel. This is our first time in Phuket. We satisfied with their service and for sure we will return to use their service again for our next holidays in Thailand.

This has been the 3rd time at this resort. Great staff and great location. Would be nice if breakfast was more western and not quite so Asian. Close to all facilities..eg Bangla Rd, Beach and Junceylon. Highly recommend. Will be staying there again in future.

Fabulous Hotel at a fabulous price

by Jennifer Zoiti from Australia

We loved our stay at Royal Paradise. We were upgraded at no extra charge and the room was excellent. The braekfast was spectacular and they served everything you can think of, both western and asian. The pool is really big and the whole hotel is clean. It is really close to Junk Ceylon and Bangla rd and the beach isn't too far, but if you want they have a shuttlw on the hour. I will absolutely stay here the next time we come to Patong.

Coconut Coffee shop Buffet RIp off

by Dina Lester from USA

Feb 20, 2010

Advertise buffet for 250B but after they are finished taxing you, the bill is almost 800B plus tip for two people. Found this out after we left a 100B tip on the table and went to the register to pay. The food is not all that geat and they cater to hoards of tour buses. They told us we had to get out by 8 pm and seated us right by the front door. Could have had a fresh seafood dinner for less money. Wont go back

Likes: close to Bangla road and other shopping, delicious buffet, nice balcony views over lovely pool, great view from top floor

Dislikes: tried ordering room service but almost spoke no english, breakfast buffet was too busy some mornings, a little bit far from the beach.

The royal wing rooms are excellent and great views of the pool . The house keeping is doing a good job ,this is the only services i am satify .
We call the front desk to help to fix the safe deposit box and it takes more than 30 mins to attend to us.A lady from the front desk came with a frustrated face and didnt even smile.
The attitube have given the hotel a bad name .
The location was good , we only had the b'fst, food was good but the staffs clear all the foods at 10am sharp even there is still customers still sitting around. This is very rude and not giving sufficient time for customers who come for b'fast at 945 to 10 am , they will have nothing to eat.

Nice place but don't expect the extras!

by Rebecca from Australia

Apr 25, 2009

For the price, this was a very convenient, well located hotel. The rooms were quite nice, though they booked us in a twin single room instead of a double which had been clearly stipulated. There were no spare rooms so the first night we had to 'make do'. I thought we may have been offered a free drink or such for the inconvenience but it felt like they expected us to deal with it! The drinks at the hotel were quite expensive (to be expected at a hotel of course) however we had to pay a compulsory gala dinner fee over New Years which did not include drinks. The fee was quite substantial and the food/service received was average given the price. It was also quite noisy as our room backed onto a club area - we didn't mind but some families or others might. Overall, happy with the stay as convenient location for the price however the 'little extras' were not really provided.

All rooms have a view. Mine had view of pool and hills. Downside in superior rooms in Royal wing is music from gaybars till 2am - I used ear plugs. But room is great with separate bath & shower.

by Willi from Khon Kaen, Thailand

Had a room in the corner at floor 14. Splendid view to mountains, city and beach. The room was very nice, spacious, clean, missed extra power outlets. Excellent value for money: 2 persons with breakfast, October, stay 5 nights, 3 for 1400 THB and 2 for 700 THB each. Extra to pay: WiFi 200 THB/h or 600 THB/d, Safe 50 THB/d, joiner 1000 THB/d, much too expensive. Can slip from one balcony to next balcony. Hotel is central, most things in walking distance, but very calm. Would stay here again.

Oct 26, 2007

I like the location is not bad, just that it is rather near those gays hot spots. You can always walk through the main street to the hotel instead. We stayed at the new building ie royal wing so I would say the room and facilities are good.
What we dont like is the pool side staff service. We do not know they don´t allow those towels to be taken out to the beach and they practically chase after us to stop us and kept saying towel is only for the pool. Well they can explain to us that if you want towel for the beach you can get it from the hotel lobby. Ended up we have to go to the receptionist and check with them. I think this should not happen in the first place, pool staff should have explain to us. Overall stay, not bad.

Really Paradise

by Matt Hammond from Australia

Aug 23, 2007

This hotel is excellent value for money. The superior rooms in the main wing are fine, no need to upgrade to the new wing. Amazing views over Patong Beach to the sea. Clean & spacious room, comfortable bed, cable tv, fully stocked mini-bar and balcony. The pool area is huge and sheltered. Prices at the bar & restaurants are very reasonable. All in all a great hotel in a great location.

the rooms we stayed are cozy, quiet, have nice view and pretty comfortable. i´d like to come back here the next time we have chance to go to Phuket. there´s just one thing i notice is that the suwimmin pool has no lighting. that´s only one thing i want to improve.

by Graham Chilvers from Torquay UK

Jan 15, 2007

I have stayed in the Royal wing thats good. This time I was in the Paradise wing. Not so good. It needs decorating and refurnishing. It´s a 3 star at the moment. Charged me 50 bat a day for my room safe. The internet was 400 bat a day. Silly amd expensive. The drinks an meals in the hotel were easonably priced. Good pool and pool service.

The location was convenient to all the shopping and night life, however the rooms definitley need to be refurbished as they are slightly old. It was okey inrelation to the cost of the room.

Its near enough to prime locations (u can walk
or take the tuk-tuk) ie. Patong beach, Bangla Rd
& the O-Top Shopping place. Security was good .
The hotel is really superb for the price, the Deluxe Royal Wing is impeccable I really highly recommend staying in this category plus it overlooks the pool which was fantastic!

Two thumbs up!

by Steven Fortt from London

Mar 12, 2006

I asked for a sea view and did not get one.
The room was not ready when we arrived at 5pm.
Sometimes the maids had not cleaned the room by late afternoon after we wanted an afternoon nap.
Not a problem told them not to bother and was done early next day.
The room was very nice, spacious, clean and had everything we wanted.

The breakfast spread is although wide and huge in variety, it is not very tasty as compared to the previous hotel that I have stayed the past nights. I actually requested for wake up call, but the staff did not wake me up!
