Good location hotel

The location of this resort is the first reason that makes me to stay here because it is 3 minutes away to kata beach and within walking street to kata village.Then the next factor is that the room rates is very cheap compare to another beach hotel in the same holtel class on Kata beach.
Regarding to hotel accom and facilities,I have rated it as a 3 star resort.Room is cozy but rather dated. Breakfast is average. Staff is friendly and attentive. over all it is a good 3 star resort. I will be back next trip.

A Pleasant stay at Tropical Garden Resort

I have stayed here for 2 times. I like the view of the ocean from my room. The resort set on the southern end of Kata becah on a little hill overlooking the andaman sea. I stayed in room 2407 which is a deluxe seaview room. The room was fantastic with private balcony and good conditioned room facilities. The resort is just a 200 metres walk to the beach and also close to restauarnts, shops nearby. Breakfast is decent taste. I like the egg corner where there were chefs cooking varied style of eggs every day -yumy yumy!
The hotel personels are nicec and helpful but their English should be improved.
Just only a downfall thing is that most rooms are on the hill, you have to clumb up hundreds of stairs to get to the room although there are some elevators dotted I noticed that there didn't access through the resort.
All of all, it is a nice hotel on Kata beach with very reasonable prices ( I booked thru latestay)
Beware that for those who have physical problemsand disables , this resort isn't rather recommened. As for me , I will go back again!

Tropical Garden has a perfect location a minute from Kata beach.Its clean and friendly with nice poolareas.
The hotel needs some work done to again receive 4 stars but for us who settle with nice,clean and perfect location u cant make a better choice.

Great hotel with cheap price

this is the second time we stayed here. As the same ,staffs are friendly and hotel is great, not expensive.

My family and I spent 5 days at the hotel over the Christmas period. We arrived very early in the morning and was taken to our room straight away, which was great since normal check-in is at 14.00. We had a superior sea-view room which was great, the only disadvantage was the amount of stairs + the fact that the lifts often were out of order. Our three year-old found the stairs a bit much and we ended up having to carry her a lot.
The rooms are a good size and could fit an extra bed + a cot. We had a corner room so had a huge terrace with great views.
We attended the Christmas dinner which was good fun. The food was excellent and the entertainment was not bad! Our kids loved the games and the visit from Santa Claus. The only disadvantage of the party was that the main pool area was closed for two days to prepare for the dinner. Amazingly enough it was all cleared up during the night, without any noise at all!
All in all a very good hotel. The staff were great and adored our children, in particular our daughter´s curly hair!

Excellent location to beach

This is the second year I have stayed at Tropical Gardens Resort.
I loved it both times, excellent property for the money, would recommend to anyone.
Quiet and clean, but I do wish they had satellite or cable T.V or at least some channels in English.
Otherwise, think it is great and will go again.
