Great location if you want to party on Bangla Road!

by Joe from United States

If you came to Patong to party you'll love the location. I have stayed here several times, as well as several other local hotels, and keep coming back. The price on hotels2thailand.com is better than I can get any other way. All rooms have balconies, air conditioning, cable tv and small fridge. Pretty darn good value and excellent location!

Not bad

by Adam McGahey from Australia

Apr 29, 2010

I stayed there for 2 weeks over the 2010 Songkran(thai new year).
Good - Location, staff were very nice and helped fix the A\C within minutes. Price was Ok I spose, but I was only there because C&N had over booked. Oh, and the POOL on the roof, fantastic! always clean and great to chill out in the arvo and eary evening.

Bad - The main complaint was that the rooms would get cleaned up until about 12-1pm.. now I was there to party and I was getting out of bed around 3-4pm, so several days the room wasn't cleaned and I had to leave the room early and then retaurn once it was cleaned. 2nd thing was the 300bht joiner fee or 'girl fine'.. I knew this was the case before booking, but I still see it as a point worth noting if you're taking a friend back every night.

Conclusion - The pool, location and friendly staff make this place worth checking out.. I and I may stay there again. But the joiner fee is a bit of a turn off, so, the C&N(which is next door+girl fiendly) might be a better choice!

Very good location .Some staff with attitude.

Generally not a bad hotel if you don't mind a little noise in the middle of the night when people come home after a drinking.
Showers OK if you don't mind a bit of mold.
Breakfast is plentiful as long as you don't arrive shortly before closing at 10am. You might find the coffee is finished.

Excellent location and clean facilities

Staff were unhelpful and mostly disinterested with any questions or requests that we had.
Didn't like being told to use a pay phone to make a call when I could have used the phone behind front desk. However the location is great and rooms were clean.

Jungceylon Shopping Complex is just about 8-10 on your left if you walk from the hotel.

OK for the price, nothing more

Pros: Good location, you could crawl back no matter how drunk from the Bangla nite-out.
Staffs are not very helpful (slow in responding to queries on airport transfer, check-in queries). Also charges THB100/hr for late checkout (despite earlier request to nite/day-shift manager). I booked 2roomsX3nites (more than THB100000) and still hotel insist I pay THB100 for 1hr late check-out on 1 of the rooms.

3 min walk to Paradise Complex, 8 min walk to Patong latest Shopping Complex (Jungcelon), right hand side is Bank of Ayudhya, left side is Bank of Bangkok, opposite is 7-11. To avoid high noise level, check in for room from 10 onwards.

Great Place to Stay

by Trevor from Japan

Nov 9, 2008

My wife and I stayed at Aloha Villa Hotel Phuket for 3 nights in mid-Aug and had a great stay. It was the 2nd time I`ve stayed at Aloha Villa and thought it was just as good as the first (back in 2001). Still clean with a great, friendly staff and the best location in Patong.
If you want a high-end luxury hotel, then this isn`t your place. But if you want a clean, nice place to stay, with-in 5 to 10 mins walking distance to everything in Patong, then you can`t go wrong with Aloha Villa.
Maybe not recommended for families with young kids. The walls are quite thin and you are in Patong with a definite seedy nightlife, but then again, you are in Patong. What do you expect?
I would go back to Aloha Villa anytime I`m back in Puket. It looks like they plan on keeping their continued success going in to the future.

And I`ll also book it through Hotels2thailand.com. I used there airport pick for a midnight pickup and they had the driver there with no hassle at all. I have to say I was a bit worried if someone was actually going to be there, so I`ll was very impressed...and relieved. What more do you want in a travel site?

The room is big, clean and comfortble but not fancy or inspiring.choosing this hotel can be great for 1-2 nights-if you intend to use it for sleeping only.(definatly not a resort..)
located very close to bangla st. and the shopping centre.
the breakfast is very good.

room is spacious and clean, staff are friendly and willing to help as much as they can(but some dont speak english very well and sometimes i end up repeating many times before they would understand), can easily hear people in the hallway(but i still had a goodnight sleep because of my very tiring tour schedules that day), convenient to patong beach, a big mall, muay thai boxing, night markets, convenient stores and banks, money exchange shops, massage and restaurants(and clubs for the night owls).

Jan 20, 2008

Clean & spacious rooms. Everthing works. No leaks. Sheets changed daily. Average brekfast. ATM machine on left & right. 7 eleven across the street. Money changer nearby.

Close to Bangla Road & the new JunkCeylon shopping complex, Carrefour, KFC and lots more

Rooms however not soundproff entirely. Rowdy guest in hallway can be disturbing. Stayed in room beside lift so the humming of lift in operation is disturbing too.

Dec 25, 2007

Aloha location is excellent, i should say crawling distance to patong beach, jungceylon, bangla road, 7-11 and alot of other places. However, first impression of aloha when checking-in and walking to room is poor. Feels just like a cheap hotel for the price.
