... have been visiting the Ocean Resort couple of times now and really like this place.

Rooms are spacious, the seaview rooms are having a marvellous view - enjoying sunset with a cocktail on a well-sized balcony is a "wow"! And for those who like to go fall out of bed into the pool: Next to one of the three pools is rooms available as well - of course not recommended for visitors looking for quiet rooms!

It is more a hotel than a resort and has more rooms than one might assume when looking at it. The restaurant at peak hours as a result can be very busy, but staff always strives to perform well.

It is little bit off Karon center and the beach, but walking there is not far (< 10 minutes) and it keeps the place quiet at night. Definitely not a location for vistors with wheelchairs, or invalids and frail people, since there is quite some stairs to be taken up to the elevator. But an advantage to those looking for active holidays ...
