We stayed at the resort for 4 days. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience for the price. The cottages are very comfortable and the service is excellent. We rented a motorcycle to explore the island and it was a very rewarding experience because unlike Phuket, Koyao Noi hasn´t been ravaged by unchecked tourism. We were able to get a glimpse of what "real" life is about on the island and also chat up with some local folks. The spa on the resort is excellent although the prices are on the higher side. The resort staff seems to be well paid and seemed genuinely happy working there. Although the service in the restaurant was rather slow, the food was very nice. We particularly liked the breakfast because of the large variety of fruit that was served up along with the usual fare. We also took 2 excursions and again, while not cheap, the personalized service as well as knowledgeable guide (Sod) made it very worthwhile. We were actually able to have our picnic lunch on an adjoining island with us being the only people of the island! Imagine that.
