Lack of smile resort

Although rate is quite good comparing to location and newly room at this resort, our family found the staffs were not well-trained of service mind taken care to guests. Many times we tried to give a smile to receptionists, housekeepers but they just looked at us and turned back without ever a little of smiling. We were there for 5 days and thinking to not return again. We trust that we can find other better alternatives at the same area.

Not that bad if you want to stay somewhere near the entertainment complex and Jungceylon. I can feel it's worth to stay here. Reasonable rate, good room and good value for money and good location

Make up the room

Out of the 4 days my room needed to be made up, for 2 days I had to chase up the front desk people/services repeatedly to have my room made up, as on both ocassions the room had not be made up even in around 6 PM! For the other two days I was not sure because I only returned to the hotel late in the evening.
On the day of departure my pre-booked car arrived late and one of the hotel receptioninst (a young man) turned out to be extremely helpful. He called the car office, and to the taxi driver many times and eventually, helped us out to secure transport to the airport knowing that driver could not arrive in time. Much appreciation to the staff of Mercure Putong in this respect.

Perfect for us, modern thai style

I really liked this hotel!
Everything was brand new, very stylish and breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed my stay and so did my 11 year old son.
