Cosy hotel

by Ferky from France

Jan 18, 2012

Great location. It's just a stroll to the beach or to the infamous Bangla road. Breakfast was good at the poolside. Choose the room with pool view instead of city view, because it is quiet noisy during the night because of the traffic. the rooms were fairly nice and the pool area was perfect.

Great Location

Overall our stay was good. The service staffs clean up our rooms daily. Breakfast service was good. Located just about 150m from the famous patong beach and is conveniently nearby many local restaurants.

Excellent location with super smelly room

by Joanne Yiu from Canada

Feb 19, 2011

The location is definitely very good. However, the room is just not clean in general with a really bad smell. The washroom is extremely dirty with a lack of toothpaste, toothbrush, hair conditioner, comb, shaver, etc...It only provides a soap and a shampoo everyday. Remember to bring your own if you live here.
Also, the room feel old with red curtain. Every morning, the bright sun shines through it and you've got to be waken up by it. So, bring eyeshades. In addition, the staffs are super EXTREMELY unfriendly. I had to repeat myself over and over again. There's also no internet because they said it's broken for 4 days. I will never stay here again!

Good location but I did not like bathroom...

by EROS VILLA from Italy

Mar 5, 2010

The room was quite good, but the cleaners did not clean the floor for 8 days !!!! They only pass a Hoover not much more.

And the toilet was also quite good, but in my opinion it has to be made new and modern, in style and funcionality.

10 min walk to bars area but next to good outside Thai restaurants

by BRIAN MCKENZIE from United Kingdom

Jul 29, 2009

I didn't like that they said I would have to pay 300Bahts extra if I brought a guest to my room. This is after paying for 2 people + breakfast with Hotels2Thailand. They eventually agreed not to charge but said no breakfast for guest. I changed hotel after my initial 3 nights and won't be back.

Convenient location, large & stylish rooms, standard ABF

by Klaus Niggenaber from Germany

Convenient location; large & stylish rooms; standard ABF - but poor selection and powder juices; overpriced on-site wannabee French restaurant; small pool and nice garden, but basically no sun.

Good location with helpful staff

by HK Tan from Singapore

Mar 4, 2008

The Patong Premier Resort was located by the main road and within walking distance to Patong Beach. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was pretty neat except for the bathroom which was small, dirty and had cracks in the wall. The Patong Food Park was located just outside the resort and has pretty good seafood stalls and some local food stalls at decent prices. The day trips booking booth at the lobby of the resort offered day trips which cost cheaper than others. Leaves were seen in the swimming pool. May consider staying there during next visit.

Excellent Choice

Feb 27, 2008

I´d like the location of this resort. It´s really convenient whilst really quiet. The room was clean and the staff were nice and helpful. Although the swimming pool was a bit small, it´s clean and just like you own it. I would like to have this once again.

There is nothing to complain about. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was good, near the beach, near the nightlife. There was good food nearby, and the staff were friendly and courteous.

Rooms

by Chen Din Chong from Singapore

If your room happens to face the main road, you either hate it or love it. Hate it for the noise and cooking fumes. Love it for the smell of barbequed seafood every nite.

Excellent location and great service.

by Angel from Singapore

Nov 23, 2007

I stayed at deluxe pool entrance. The room is clean and cosy, though small. However, the service is excellent! Air-con was very cold. Toilet lacks amenities. What you see in the pictures is what you will get. The complimentary breakfast is the usual but the staff were very polite and assisted me in every ways. There is a small stall which opens from 3pm till 1am beside the hotel that sells fantastic food! Ate my dinner there thoughout my whole trip! The hotel has great location: few minutes to massage, beach, money exchanger etc. Nothing to dislike. :) will want to return again

distant from the main attractions

by Ang Zhi Yuan from Singapore

Nov 22, 2007

its a little far from the main attractions at patong, probably 10-15 mins away from bangla road. Nonetheless a good value for money given its price. clean, good breakfast, quiet. all the sort of comfort u require for a hotel.

Clean, Friendly, Good Value

by Ian McArthur from Australia

Sep 12, 2007

Was looking for clean friendly good value hotel. This hotel fulfilled all those requirements. Surroundings are pleasant and tropical. Pool was very clean and surrounds pleasant to relax. Situated close to beach and short 10/15min walk to nightlife area. Never eat in restaurant always eat out but looked quite pleasant. Rooms clean comfortable and well serviced. Value for price.

A Place to Stay which near Patong Beach

by Leong Jit Min from Malaysia

Aug 5, 2007

Patong Premier Resort Hotel is the nearest and cheapest hotel you can find along Patong Beach. It´s located at Ran-U Thit Road, just next to Club Andaman Hotel. 5 minites walk and you will be at the beach. Walk along Ran-U-Thit Road, you´ll find a lot of FOREX Counter, find the best exchange rate of your country. Good local Thai Food is available along this road.

Great central location

by Peter S from Melbourne, Australia

Jan 22, 2007

This hotel is located only 2-3 minutes walk from the beach and about 5-10 walk minutes from the central entertainment area. The pool is fairly basic, but when the beach is so close, who cares! The rooms are straight forward, but functional, and the staff were helpful.

Overall, for the price, great value for money.

Morning Breakfast and Room

by Hah Nyee Khean from Malaysia

Nov 17, 2006

Not really as what expected. The food not so satisfied as the same everyday day. Can be improved.

However, the room is very comfortable to stay, we are happy for that.

it was an excellent location 5 minute walk to beach and 15-20 minute walk to night market.and there was a night restaurant beside the hotel.

Although the hotel is a little but further from the main downtown area, it is still nice as seafood, beach and convenience store is nearby. Hotel room was not i expected althoughi look like new renovated. But 1 thing is the manager did not told that for the kids breakfast is have to paid because i online booking i arealdy mension that i have 6 adult and 1 children, but when i been they 2nd day the staff said that we have to paid for the breakfast for 1 day 100 thai batt.and i ask the manager that we already mension that have 1 kids but the manager said that in the term and condition it can be change so i like that it can be anytime close when we all walk in.And i stay for 5days 4 nights it will airport transport but i reach the phuket airport there will nobody to fetch us.So we go there by taxi.so i will never never ever to stay at the patong premier resort again.

Excellent and recommended

by Phil Castle from London

Mar 8, 2006

I really liked this hotel. It was in a nice location about 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Bangla Road (10 baht by motor bike taxi)
Just outside is some nice night restaurants.
The pool is very nice and clean and scenery nice although trees do block out a lot of the sun so good if you want a break from the direct sun.

Breakfast a little boring but not important for me.
Overall staff were very friendly and helpful

A very good option and would recommend

I had my own shower gel and shampoo / conditioner so I did NOT use theirs. However apparently the dispenser for their soap and shampoo was broken and they blamed me! Housekeeping said that I broke it....I said I never used it and because housekeeping say that it was not broken before I used the room does not mean that I broke it. How can one break the dispenser when they do not use it?! However they were not prepared to listen and were going to charge me 1000 baht. I argued and they reduced it to 700 baht. I was on my way to the airport and could not afford to waste time arguing over this so I settled the bill. The housekeeper and receptionists attitude was extremely offensive. If I had broken the dispenser I would have happily owned up to it and paid for the damages. They put me in a position where I had to pay to check out and get to the airport....this was unacceptable especially as the dispenser probably only cost the hotel about 50 baht....highway robery! The manager should have given the benefit of doubt to me and not just taken the word of the housekeeper or her staff who may have broken the dispenser and rather than pay it themselves blamed it on the farang who has money? The manager was no where to be seen and should have been there to deal with the situation to resolve it satisfactorily. I will not be staying at that hotel nor will I recommend it to my friends or colleagues.
