The rooms were large and breakfast was very good. Great value for money. Friendly reception with good English speaking. easy to get to side seeing place.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Located in the heart of phuket town. It is a good value for money. The hotel is a little older, but not bad.

I liked the restaurant and the lovely morning buffet breakfast. Nice and clean lobby with the facilities we need.

If you want 5 star impecable rooms ,this is not the place for you. However my stay there in may 2008 was great the location in town is good all services close by. Great fitness area with spinning etc ,great cafe in the lobby with espn big screens and really good food. I will stay here again on my next visit. Note the pool is closed for renovatio for the next 2 to 3 months.

Decent hotel

Royal Phuket City was a fairly standard hotel, staff were reasonably helpful and the room was fine. Nothing inspiring but absolutely nothing to complain about either, a reasonable place to spend a couple of days in Phuket town.
