    The location is pretty good. Five minutes walking distance to Patong Beach. The swimming pool is small, and the window view is not really a view. There is no bath tub in standard room. But it is relatively good value I´d say. The room that I stayed in was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed staying here more than Peach Hill Resort.

    The resort is wonderful. Not only that it is so close to the beach (2min.) and the bars (1min./Bangla 5min.), but also the resort itself. We would highly recommend to book a Junior Suite. It is very comfotable, big and so nice designed. Moreover ours were at the third floor, so we didn´t hear anything at night or from the pool. The pool and the poolarea are really clean and so inviting, but the water was a little bit warm. The staff is excellent and helpfull in everything. We actually decided to have dinner in the Salathai Resort and never regreded it. Try to order something from the grill. The filet of beef is wonderful and delicious and you get free and unlimited salat bar and rolls. Also the grilled fish was so great. Only the breakfast could have more choices. I missed cheese and ham or a different kind of joghurt and cerials. But what was there was very good.
    So, all in all we would recommend the Salathai Resort everytime and everywhere and for sure, we will stay there the next time again. We had a wonderfull time!!!!

    Beautiful hotel - the pictures are true (unlike many others in Patong!). Stayed in Junior Suite October 1-6, 3rd floor. I liked: huge rooms - very clean, beautiful ´open´ lobby and restaurant, excellent customer service (and most of staff speak adequate english), restaurant very good food and atmosphere, open to street. Pool area beautiful and relaxing. Location right downtown, only 2 minute walk to beach, close to everything downtown. Internet in lobby, spa services, tour services...Great great value for money when you book online! Nothing to dislike :)

    what a great find. two mins from the beach but we were more in the pool.from my ground floor room it was just a hop,skip and jump to the pool.

    it´s a older hotel but is still clean and neat. Good staff service and food and is convient to puket beach, shops etc. I wouldn´t rate it much higher than 3 to 3 1/2 stars by australian star standards

    Salathai resort was very near to the beach. Rooms were clean and good value for money but there were no bathtubs, the resort was around 10 - 15 mins walk away from the entertainment areas so it was not noisy. We rented a car, returning of the car was during the time when we were away for the island hopping trip, hotel staff was honest to return the car deposit. Overall, a good place to stay.
