In the midst of the crowdy Patong, Salathai is an oase of quitness. And most of the guest will respect this.

Loved the fact that all rooms look out to the pool. Staff very helpful and it was a great location, 10 minute walk to the nightlife, but once you were in your room you couldn't hear anything. The bathroom was a bit odd as the water from the shower flowed around the whole floor, but it was clean ans worked.

nice hotel, good location, few minutes walk to shopping mall and beach. message and food just stop distance. A++

We had a great time staying at Salathai Resort hotel. People at hotel were very nice. Room was very clean. Location was great! close to convenient store, restaurant, beach...
Free water and drinks were nice too.
I would definetly stay there if I have the chance to comeback.

Suits all my needs. Close to beach, friendly staff, nice rooms, nice relaxing pool, 5 min walk to Bangla.

Excellent location isolated from noise yet not far from night life (5 min walk), staff very friendly and willing to help, house keeping very good sheets and pillow cases are changed every day, all rooms pool view and they don't charge for joiner, all in all great value for money.

The hotel is very nice and the staffs are friendly. Free internet access. Convenient and near by to various facilities. Will be staying in this hotel next time. Highly recomended!!

The location is perfect, only a short stroll to the beach, with 7 11 across the street. I also like the sawaditrak rd, peaceful and quiet, unlike other street in Patong.

I also like the hotel design. Atol-shaped-pool with emerald water surrounded with plant and orchid, teracota ceramics and curvy leg bed. Almost all the staff can speak english and very helpful, the manager even upgraded one of our room to Salathai Suite (we ordered 4 standard rooms for 3 nights).

The wow didnt stop even after we checked out. I left my cell phone in my room. Salathai contact Hotels2thailand and also call my last dialed number (my sister). They also arrange transportation so my phone can be delivered to me in the airport right before my plane departed.

I highly recommended this place for anyone staying in Patong. All the attraction is within walking distance, the price is right, the place is great, spotless service.

The only low point about this place is the breakfast. Fruit, cereal/yogurt, bread and egg is all they had every morning. I wish they provide more variation since I get bored in the second day and choose to eat outside in the third day.

This was my second stay here. It´s biggest attribute is its proximity to the beach. It´s only a 3 minute walk down the road. The pool is good. The staff is lovely.
No negatives except they were full for the first 2 days we wanted. The price of success.

breakfast buffet prefered

1. Good location, close to Patong beach, about 3 mins walk. Heading to Bang-la Rd only 10 mins.

2. Very cozy & quiet hotel environment because Sawatdirak Rd is not a busy road.

3. Give an applause to the helpful staffs in Salathai. They are friendly & courteous.

4. Room - clean & comfortable beds. Adequate towels for shower and beach towels as well.

5. Toilet - clean but there is no partition for shower area & bath tub. It causes the whole floor wet every time after your shower.

the location is good,very near the beach,and shopping,the staffs are friendly ,i like the pool in this resort,spend comfortable days here.

what a great find. two mins from the beach but we were more in the pool.from my ground floor room it was just a hop,skip and jump to the pool.
i will be back.

Beautiful hotel - the pictures are true (unlike many others in Patong!). Stayed in Junior Suite October 1-6, 3rd floor. I liked: huge rooms - very clean, beautiful ´open´ lobby and restaurant, excellent customer service (and most of staff speak adequate english), restaurant very good food and atmosphere, open to street. Pool area beautiful and relaxing. Location right downtown, only 2 minute walk to beach, close to everything downtown. Internet in lobby, spa services, tour services...Great great value for money when you book online! Nothing to dislike :)

could not be faulted for friendliness ... management is second to none ... no wonder i keep going back
