Great Experience
by Seysey from United Kingdom
My husband and I stayed at Sawasdee Village in Dec 2011. The design and layout of this hotel was genius – not a huge property, but very well thought out. When we arrived late at night, we were greeted with smiles, cool towels and a cold drink. Check-in and check-out were seamless, especially considering our "off-peak" arrival and departure times. The pool is lovely, the spa is definitely worth a visit and the restaurant is excellent. The breakfast selection is really good and it's easy walking distance to Kata Beach. It's a great place to relax and escape, especially if you want a quiet getaway.
Best hotel on our trip!

Amazing holiday stay. Great staff and personalised service. The restaurant was the best and service was excellent. Pool lovely and we had no problem with bugs or mosquitoes.
A fantastic place for total escape
We stayed here for 5 nights and I cannot fault one thing. The gardens, the spa, the restaurant everything was excellent. The best thing about Sawasdee Village is the staff they were superb!
Beautiful setting but rooms too small and too dark
by Roland Ottoy from Belgium
Nice breakfast , very helpful staff , beautiful garden and restaurant.
Rooms too small and too dark. Renovation going on and really disturbing ( starting 08h45 on Sunday morning ?? ). Value for money but will not go back.
not good hotel,Not recommended for families

Although it had a beautiful surrounding but This hotel was my biggest disappointment in my 10 days stay in Thailand, the rooms are too small and there is no place to set, the seating is outside the room where it was very hot and noisy due to construction going on, some of the staff are nice and helpful and some are not, restaurant is very expansive and breakfast is limited and average in quality, staff in restaurant are not friendly as long as you tip them well and you feel they have attitude compare to the normal Thai nice friendly people, there was no tea coffee making facility in the room, and there is no bath tub as well, I booked a trip to Phi Phi island from the office that is exactly opposite to the hotel door and it turned to be a mood spoiling as the driver had the worst attitude I ever seen in my 5 years of frequent trips to this beautiful country and the boat that is designed to carry 100 people they were putting 300 people in it and having family with children we desided to come back especially after the driver attitude, I had to pay for the long trip back and the office owner deducted 500Bht and was very rude, when I spoke to the reception staff she said this office belong to the hotel and when the front office manager came she denied and said we do not have control over him, I do not recommend this hotel at all, all my family was not happy with this experiance
A quiet haven in busy Phuket
This hotel was really a treat. Just a short walk from the main street with restaurants, bars and shops but the hotel felt like it was in a quiet village away from the crowds.
The hotel itself is well designed, with lush gardens, beautifull artifacts in the gardens and with a serene atmosphere. The rooms are well designed, not very large but spacious enough, very comfortable beds, internet in the rooms and very cosy. We travelled with 2 kids (age 8 and 14) and despite the fact that there were no other kids in the hotel, they liked this place a lot. Nice and healthy breakfast. Friendly staff.
In case you like to be a place that combines a tranquil environment with close vicinity to the husstle and bustle, this is the place to be.
Amazing Ambiance
by jennifer jimenez from California, United States
This place was AMAZING. Pictures can´t depict how lush and gorgeous these gardens are. The staff was there to fill every need. When we arrived, they handed us a cool drink and a cool washcloth that smelled like heaven. This place was so peaceful and beautiful. The swimming pool is located in the middle with fountains, statues and tropical vegetation surrounding it. There are bubbles bursting up through the sloped sides and a swim up bar. Some rooms open directly to the pool, ours did not. You wind your way through more lush gardens over little bridges where there are teak wood decks lined with colorful silk pillows that overhang Koi ponds that run through the entire place. Simple yet elegant decor in the rooms. The only downside is that the rooms are small. Each room has it´s own Internet, daily fruit basket, etc. Good location, short walk to the beach. The restaurant is good and they will serve you on your deck, in your room or at the restaurant. The spa prices were high considering you could walk out of the hotel and get massage for 1//3 the price down the street. Loved this place. I would highly recommend staying here if you are ever considering going to Phuket, Thailand!
Excellent Atmosphere
I really liked the hotel and its atmosphere. The Spa is really nice and the restaurant is pleasant. I would like come back again next time!
