The hotel was under construction when I arrived which was a surprise to me. I had to carry my luggage through the restaurant to check in. I suppose it will be very nice after completion.

The services is not that good here, especially in the restaurant. Not to mention the bad food, the staff is like walking corpses. They have NO customer service skills and I´m sure they have had no training. Simple things like "greeting" the guest when they walk in, or asking if they would like some coffee would be nice. They just simply take your breakfast ticket and leave you.

The room I was in had mosquitos. I was bitten several times and would have loved a mosquito net. The stange thing is that there is a full size WINDOW on the bathroom wall! it is covered by a shower curtain, so you can see the shadow of the person taking a shower. Not too private and just odd if you ask me. Who would have a full size window looking into the bathroom?

Location is good because it is on the beach. It is a few blocks from the Bangla Rd nightlife. I would prefer next time to stay closer to Bangla Rd and off the beach.

The hotel is nicely located infront of the beach. Staffs are generally nice & service-oriented. Disappointed with the room service though as I was turned down for a late meal when the kitchen closed only at 1am! Requested for some food at 12.30am. Have to go to nearby 711 store for a quikie meal that sucks! Guess this incident somehow marred the good impression so far. The room is tastefully done up with a boutique feel but the toilet needs much maintenanace. The paint on the toilet walls are patchy and the sink system is unfriendly for use.
