Phuket Simon Cabaret

In Europe and America, the tradition of men dressed as women for theatre roles dates back five hundred years when it was not permitted for a respectable woman to be seen on the stage.

During World War II, many of the great English pantomimes featured men dressed as women as there were no women on the frontlines where the shows took place.

However, in Thailand, due to the considerable tolerance of the culture, the theatrical performances of men dressed as women has always been accepted and a great number of males who feel more natural as females, find a career as cabaret performers.

Join the fun at Simon Cabaret where the lavish sets and brilliant costumes will amaze you. Performers lip-synch songs popular in countries around the world. In nearby Patong, transvestite performances can be enjoyed at Andaman Queen Cabaret and in many of the neighboring open air bars

  • Running Time :1.10 hours
  • The show is available twice daily, at 19:45 and 21:30 hours.
  • Cameras are not allowed in the theater but after the show the cast lines up outside for photo.

The show was fabulous! Fantastic costumes, beautiful women/men!! and a great entertaining night! The old one was our favourite! Very funny and experienced performer. I recommend it!! The show is nice & fun. As for me, the show is one of the best thing in Phuket.

Must see, must do while in Patong...Simon Cabaret is a Thai culture. Ladyboy's are very common here...the most beautiful women are in fact men. This show is spectacular with costumes, sets, Bose sound and theatre.

Would go again if we went back.

This bright and colorful show was a pleasant surprise with beautiful new costumes, a reasonable price, good sense of humor, interesting staging and a high level of professionalism of the actors! very, very good!
