The Upside Down House Phuket

Take a break from the beach and temples of Thailand and step into the puzzling world of the Upside Down House in Phuket. Adults and children alike will enjoy a stroll through this life-size optical illusion, a house where everything appears to be upside down. Giggle with delight as you take in the furniture, decorations and even a tuk-tuk that rests on the 'floor' above you. Enjoy fantastic photo ops and the attention of the friendly staff as you take in the many surprising features of this gravity-defying attraction.

The 13 meters three-levels, completely upside down, fully furnished house is the newest tourist attraction on the island. The eccentric modern western-style house will feature a parking – or wait a minute, isn't that the roof ? – staircases, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom – all with the furniture hanging from the ceiling, or as it were, the floor…

From the windows of Baan Teelanka you can look out over the A-Maze Garden, located in back of the house. Our maze is a creation of Adrian Fisher Design Ltd United Kingdom, an award-winning company considered the world’s leading maze designer with a portfolio of more than 500 facilities in 30 countries.
