My Experience at chaba by Ben from Australia (March 25, 2009)
Overall: Service: Location: Rooms: Cleanliness: Value for money:		Good points: Staff were really friendly, they knew us by name! especially wassssaaa at the door, rusty and roger at the pool bar!!! Its on the beach, a must in koh samui! Lake view room was great, the lake is quite nice to look at so dont worry about the view you get. Right near the local markets and a convienience store, very handy for getting cheap drinks! Room was always made very clean. Young people a plenty! Big Room!! BAD POINTS A little bit old looking and run down but nothing that would ruin your experience. Alcohol at pool bar quite expensive, quite easy to run up a high bill. Main pool is shallow, however there is a second pool on the 3rd floor that is much deeper but we didnt find out about it till near the end.

Overall: Service: Location: Rooms: Cleanliness: Value for money:		The hotel is in two parts we where in the beach side and it was okay. It was a bit dated and I have stopped in more modern hotels for about the same price. So saying we had no complaints as such it was clean and functional and served its purpose.

Overall: Service: Location: Rooms: Cleanliness: Value for money:		hey there. this is the first review i´ve ever written but was quite impressed with my stay at Chaba Samui that i felt obliged. Great breakfast, get up at 8amish to benefit most from it. There were plenty of sunchairs, the beach was great. Perhaps stick to the Ocean Wing as Lake Wing is across the road and just not as convenient to pool, beach , breakfast. We spent many nights eating at the resorts but then found some nice places down the road a little to the left. We only paid 40baht for a meal! unbelievable. your close to shopping and can walk the whole beach fairly easily. Our only issue was that we had a joining room and could hear our German neighbours very easily, quite annoying. I would come here again and recommend it to anyone and I´m hard to please.
