Absolutely Charming, But...

The house and grounds are totally authentic. It really feels like a Thai country get-away with lush greenery all around.There is a large sala upstairs with brilliantly colored pillows and another on the ground floor with hammocks,tables and chairs, and a second bathroom. The two bedrooms are tastefully furnished with good aircon.Unfortunately, the canal is used as a garbage dump so the quaint pier is not usable. Music from a nearby house was not too loud during the day but at 6:00 a.m. chanting on a loudspeaker was intolerable. Such a shame because the place is great.
