Excellent location, beach compares to Koh Samui, a paradise on the Golf of Thailand for people who seek repose

We stayed the first time in l988...after a long break discovering other Thai areas, we returned in 2008. Good changes had been made. Rooms always kept clean, service ever friendly. Even with its multi events and banquets, it was and still is a restful beach area. The breakfast buffet could be enhanced, and the swimming pool furnitures exchanged.

Everything was good except when I got the reception to call for a taxi for me from a number I had and asked the lady there to translate for me. She told me non-aircond taxi is 350 baht instead of 300.I already knew the taxi would cost me 300 baht. She called the taxi for me, and then told me to give her 350 Baht. When I refused, she was a bit angry with me but I did not see any reason to give her the money because it was a private taxi number I had called.I also thought it was fair to pay the taxi driver instead of her.
When the taxi came, I asked him how much, and he said 300 baht. The reason, I am writing this story is because, I feel a bit dissapointed that the staff of your hotel was trying to charge me an extra 50 baht by lying to me about the condition of taxi etc, pay her etc. I feel that the staff of your hotel cannot be trusted. If she had said to me, the hotel is charging a small fee of maybe 20 baht, I would not have minded giving her a tip but the fact is she was trying to blatantly trying to rip me off is a very un-dignified thing to do, and therefore gives Your hotel a bad reputation.
