Not the Centara Standards

This hotel is of average standards, however since I stayed at different hotels of the same Centara chain before, I found this one much lower than the normal centara standards. The breakfast was really at a very low quality.

Countryside natural beauty is a rare find in Thailand. Due to the abundance of land, most town developments are sprawled out in the vast plains so my hope for dense townships snaking along the tiered rice paddies in the valleys was squashed early. Even when you get to the near border towns such as Mae Sot, the towns themselves are not picturesque.
