About Maliwan Thai Cooking Class

Welcome you all to Maliwan Thai Cooking Class which provides the cooking work shop for both tourists and local residents. You will have fun with our cookery techniques in the small class using the good quality of ingredients in the center of Bangkok city. You can choose to learn cooking in a variety of classes with the full-equipped in the cool kitchen whether you are beginners or professional. Our leading chef and nice staff will guide you the fundamental technique in the fun, creative and enjoyable environment. Whether you want to cook in the professional way or just have fun with your friends and your family, this is the good place to start with.

Activity Information

How to use
  • You must book at least 24 hours prior to arrival

  • You can present either a printed or a mobile voucher to enter to the attraction directly

  • The person who books and receives the confirmation voucher must present a valid photo ID/passport along with the voucher number

  • The voucher is valid only on specified date and time of the tour

  • Tour operation everyday 09:00-20:30

  • Vegetarian dishes are available upon request. If you have any special requirements or allergies please let us know when you book

  • Please note that walking in the wet market can be a little bit wet and muddy! Please wear any closed-toe/heel shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty

  • By Boat: Take the Chao Phraya Boat and get off at the Phra Arthit Pier. Call a Tuk Tuk to give you a ride to Kraisi Road. On the road, look for a Chinese Temple. 70 m. walk in to a small alley next to the temple then turn right at the junction, you will see a 4 stories-building painted in dark greyish brown

  • By Taxi: Tell the driver to drop you off at the Kraisi Road in Banglumphu area. On the road, look for a Chinese Temple. 70 m. walk in to a small alley next to the temple then turn right at the junction, you will see a 4 stories-building painted in dark greyish brown

  • By Skytrain (BTS) or Underground (MRT): There are no Skytrain or underground stations in the Khaosan Road area. Getting off at Ratchathewi bts Skytrain Station Exit 1 and catch a taxi to our cooking class. The distance between the skytrain station and Maliwan is about 4.5 km. You can also take the MRT to Hua Lamphong MRT Station and use the Exit 2 then, take a taxi to our class. The distance between the MRT station and Maliwan is about 5.5 km
