SITCA Thai Cooking Class Koh Samui

Welcome to the Samui Institute of Thai Culinary Arts, established in 1999. Please watch the video introduction below to see how we conduct our cooking classes in our purpose built teaching kitchens.

SITCA’s menus change for every day of the week Monday through Saturday, and almost all our recipes can be adapted for non meat eaters and those with allergies or other dietary restrictions..

The meal follows immediately after class and the fruits of your labors will be some of the most sumptuous Thai food you will have in Thailand. Students who participate in 3 or more classes receive a certificate of achievement.

  • 3 dishes/daytime class.
  • Recipes of all dishes learned.

  • Pick up and drop off from hotel
  • Tips and gratuities.
  • Personal expenses.
  • Optional activity costs.


  • Morning Thai Cooking Class • 11:00 am .
  • Afternoon Thai Cooking Class • 4:00 pm .
  • Tour and program can be flexible depending on time and weather condition.
  • Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to attend the cooking class.
  • Schedule is subject to change without prior notice.

Cooking Class Schedules Morning:

  • Monday : Homemade Red Curry Paste / Red Curry with Chicken and Potatoes / Spicy Prawns Soup (Tom Yum Koong) / Savory Fried Flat Noodle with Pork.
  • Tuesday : Homemade Green Curry Paste / Green Curry with Chicken and Potatoes / Spicy Glass Noodles Salad with Prawns / Stir-Fried Vegetables.
  • Wednesday : Homemade Chu Chee Curry Paste / Chu Chee with Seafood / Pumkin Coconut Milk Soup,Pork balls / Stir-Fried Chicken with Ginger in Oyster Sauce.
  • Thursday : Homemade Red Hot Curry Paste / Red Hot Curry with Pork / Stir-Fried Spicy Seafood with Holy Basil / Coconut Milk Soup with Chicken and Turmeric.
  • Friday : Homemade Yellow Curry Paste / Yellow Curry with Chicken and Potatoes / Glass Noodles Soup with Tofu / Deep Fried with Turmeric .
  • Saturday : Deep Fried Fish with Vegetables / Papaya Salad / Homemade Red Curry Pepper Paste / Red Curry Pepper with Chicken.

Cooking Class Schedules Afternoon:

  • Monday : Homemade Massaman Curry Paste / Massaman Curry with Chicken and Potatoes / Deep Fried Spring Rolls / Spicy Prawns Salad with Lemon Grass.
  • Tuesday : Homemade Panang Curry Paste / Panang Curry with Pork / Spicy Chicken Soup with Sweet Basil / Fried Rice with Prawns.
  • Wednesday : Stir Fried Noodles with Prawns (Phad Thai) / Homemade Green Curry Paste / Green Curry with Chicken / Coconut Milk Soup with Chicken.
  • Thursday : Homemade Penang Curry Paste / Penang Curry with Chicken / Spicy Deep Fried Prawns Salad / Stir-Fried Flat Noodle with Pork.
  • Friday : Deep Fried Chicken with Lemon Grass / Spicy Coconut Milk Soup with Seafood / Chu Chee Curry with Seafood / Homemade Chu Chee Curry Paste .
  • Saturday : Homemade Red Curry Paste / Red Curry with Roast Duck / Stir Fired Pork in Oyster Sauce / Fried Noodle with Prawns (Phad Thai).
