Baiyoke Seacoast Samui
Overall
On the beach hotels are a very beautiful view from the top to see the eyes. Swimming pool with a large staff, delicious food, a place where the customer is very important to stay smiling for the tourists in Thailand is very impressive.

Great place
We stayed for a week from 11 - 17 jan 2012. We had a Lotus Villa with private pool. The restaurant is good but a short stroll to the beach (just down the hill) provides access to some wonderful waterside restaurants and a good variety of shopping. I would recommend getting a scooter to access the rest of the island. The resort staff were all very nice. We liked Cheong Mon a lot, small and can recommend the Orchid restaurant. Also the beach at Cheong Mon is good with a few restaurants, only a few beach sellers and lovely massage ladies at Yong's massage. It's easy to get from CM to Chaweng or Bohput.

Definite needs a lot of improvement for 5 star rating
Have been here twice, the first time in the cheaper section, wanted something special for our wedding with a private pool. Well we had our own pool, but it wasnt private as other guests could see us, the floorboards were rotted both inside and the deck outside around the pool, you had to watch your step as to which boards you actually stepped on as an accident is waiting to happen. Only fresh linens 3 times a week, not good enough especially for the $2000 AUd for a week, especially when we arrived there was a special advertised and we didnt get anything as a bonus, not even a discount that they were offering then nor a free dinner. Wanted a romantic meal out on the point in the gazebo and it took three converstions to even get them to understand us and then told all we could do was have it on the beach. Food excellent and the main pool has a view to die for, but definite needs a lot of work done to the resort. Not value for money.
